Business Process Outsourcing: The Perfect Solution for Your Business

The business process involves a lot of things. It will involve every aspect of your company in order to let your company operate smoothly and efficiently. It will involve business tasks, such as marketing, payrolls, help desks, management, human resources and more.

In the past, handling all these can be easy. But because of the growing demands in businesses today, you have to consider that it will be difficult for your company to cope up with todays competitiveness in the business world. Your company should maximize its resources in order to remain competitive with other companies.

This would be impossible or very expensive if you handle every business process involved. This is why many companies are now considering outsourcing their business process.

Business process outsourcing is one of the most popular and the most cost-efficient business solution that you can ever make. By contracting other companies to do a specific business task, you will be taking off extra work involved in your company and focus more on important aspects in running your business.

For example, making payrolls can be time consuming. It will involve computation of salaries of every employees and it will also involve taxes. You can hire your own employees to do the payroll for you. But, this will only add to the expenses that your company is making. Your target would be to decrease overall expense in your company. So, in order to save money, you have to outsource this particular business process to companies that accepts outsourcing.

Another example would be the help desk. Every company that manufactures products needs one. This particular business process is a way to communicate with your clients and know about their feedback in your products and it is also a way to assist your clients in case they encounter difficulty with your product. Creating a help desk department may prove to be too costly. It will involve everything from hiring additional employees and purchasing all the necessary tools you need to create an efficient and working help desk.

Today, there are available call center companies that will be able to provide a help desk for you. They will be the one who will answer your calls and generate reports regarding each caller and providing the reports for your company.

Companies regularly outsource their business process offshore, particularly to developing countries filled with qualified and talented individuals, such as China, Philippines, Mexico and India. These countries offer good quality services for your business process and they charge a very cheap rate for these services.

By outsourcing your companys business process or some of your companys business process, your company will be able to utilize its facilities to its maximum potential.

Through business process outsourcing you will be able to cut some operational costs and at the same time, let your company focus more on important factors in running your own business.

These are the reasons why you should consider outsourcing your business process to offshore companies.

Always keep in mind that you should first check the quality of an offshore outsourcing company first before you sign the contract in order to be sure that you will be getting your moneys worth. Remember this and it will pave the way to make your company the best in the industry.

Lead A Debt Free Student Life, Obtain Debt Consolidation Loans

A prompt and timely repayment always keeps you away from falling into a debt trap. But at the time of financial crisis it becomes quite difficult to make all repayments viable especially if you have taken several debts. To overcome this situation a debt consolidation loan would be the best answer for you.

Too many debts always create a problem with your repayments. Debt consolidation loans help you to repay all your existing debts by consolidating them into one. To be more clear, consider this example. Suppose if you have 3 existing debts. Now when you take a debt consolidation loan, you will make repayment for only this loan. All your previous debts will be merged together and will be repaid automatically by the debt consolidation lender. This will help reduce the size of your repayment and you will be bound with only one creditor.

Student debt consolidation loans also offer several benefits. They come with a very low rate of interest and are charged only after you have completed your school and college. There are plenty of rebates also available that you can avail with student debt consolidation loans, Apart from that if you go for this loan, your debt pressure will decrease a lot and you will be able to concentrate on your studies and work.

You will get a student debt consolidation loan mainly from two sources:

A government agency- These are federal loans offered usually with cheaper interest rate than other sources.

A federal agency- also known as private student debt consolidation, offer loan to all students who fail to get a government fund.

Student debt consolidation loans are offered to all types of students. As a student, this might be your first loan that you need to repay your tuition fee, boarding fee, travel expense etc. So, you will be offered with a no credit history loan. You will get a student debt consolidation loan also if you have a bad credit history.

The process of student debt consolidation application is as simple as filling any other form. The most ideal and affordable source of application is the internet to which every student is familiar. Internet provides a range of lenders offering student debt consolidation loans. The application form will ask you for certain details about your identity and credit history. Being a student your loan application will be approved quickly without any delay.

But before filling out any form, first research and find the lender offering best loan amount with the lowest interest rates and easy repayments. This way you will get the best deal that will make your financial status good.

RV Travel Tips For The Beginner And Seasoned RV Enthusiast

Theres never been a better time to take up the RV life. Whether youre a weekend wanderer, a snowbird or a full-timer, theres an RV to suit any travel budget and any taste. With baby boomers starting to hit retirement age, more and more people are taking to the road with their motor home, RV or travel trailer. The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association recently reported that nearly 8 million American households have and RV, motor home or travel trailer and that there are as many as 30 million RV enthusiasts in the US.

Seeing the country in an RV offers many benefits to the traveler looking for an affordable and exciting way to spend quality family time. According to one study, a family of four can save up to 74% traveling by RV instead of more conventional ways. And with more than 16,000 public and privately-owned campgrounds in the US, theres a site to fulfill everyones vacation fantasy, whether its an oceanfront view, hiking trails, casino gambling or tennis.

RV travel is easy to learn, and once youve got the hang of it, therell be no going back! Here are six helpful tips that will come in handy for both the beginning and seasoned RV enthusiast:

Map it Out

A large part of the RV appeal is the exhilarating freedom of the open road to go wherever you want, whenever you want. But it helps to have a solid travel plan in place. If you know where youre heading, you can determine the best route, which offers the most interesting places to see. Look in travel guides, contact tourism boards in states youll be passing through, and search on the Internet. Make sure to have the correct road maps with you; a GPS system is a good idea as well, especially if youre new to this kind of travel. If youve carefully designed the route youll be taking, it makes it easier to do spur-of-the moment things like checking out that oddball museum you just spotted on a roadside billboard!

Have A Checklist? Just Checking

During your pre-trip prep, in addition to working out what needs to be in the RV, put together a thorough checklist of things to do when setting up at a campground. There are the basics, like finding out where all the campground connections are, making sure your RV is level and properly hooking up your water, gas and electric systems but dont forget comfort concerns, like making sure youve packed your favorite CDs and DVDs and those new lawn chairs. Equally important, you should have a second checklist of what has to be done when you break camp, both in terms of setting up your RV for departure (quick hint: when you think the job is done and everything is ready, check again).

Be Prepared - Have A Just-For-The-RV First Aid Kit

Always make sure you have a fully stocked, up-to-date, just-for-the-RV First Aid kit, and keep it in an outside storage compartment. It should include basic medical supplies (bandages, ointment, OTC pain reliever, insect repellant, scissors, etc.) and items like a flashlight, paper and writing implements, and a disposable camera in case you have to take photos of an accident site. If you dont feel up to the task of putting one together yourself, an extensive range of ready-made First Aid kits are available for purchase. Also include an emergency supply of must-have medications and a list of important contact names (family members, doctors, insurance agents etc).

Camping with Kids

If youre traveling with children, make sure to set aside time during the day for outdoor activities, as even the roomiest RV can be confining for kids. And give each child his or her own space in the RV, no matter how small, for personal stuff and toys and games. RV traveling is a unique opportunity for your children to see new and different places and faces. There are often plenty of other kids at campgrounds but be sure to walk around a new campground with your children when you first get settled there. They need to know which campsite youre in and how to find it from other places on the grounds. If youre also taking the family pet, check beforehand to see if theyre allowed at the campground

A Little Help From Your Friends

When in doubt, ask your fellow RVer. However well-traveled you might be, odds are theres someone youll meet along the way who has been somewhere you havent, solved a problem you havent yet encountered, or spotted an out-of-the-way delight youve never heard of. No matter how much research youve done, theres bound to be a campsite you havent read about, a storage system that has escaped your notice or a funny anecdote that youll laugh about for years to come. The new folks you meet may or may not become close friends for life, but theyre an important part of the journey.

How To Find Used Cars For Sale On The Internet

You don't buy a car everyday. It's a big purchase. There is so much to consider and it can seem overwhelming, but here are some basic questions you should ask yourself:

What model of car are you looking for? What specific make and year is best for you?

Where is the best place to find a used car, online or at an actual local dealership? What are the advantages of both?

How much are you going to spend and what effect will it have on your budget? What is the most you can afford to pay?

How much will the fees and insurance come to ?

Is it a good idea to maybe take out a loan?

Here are some tips to make all these decisions easier to make:

Spend some quality time with your computer. Sip some coffee, relax and cruise the internet. A little research will help you make a more informed decision.

Do a simple internet search for both used cars and trucks. You will find lots of websites offering deals.

Look at different styles and different features, and compare prices.

After you have decided what model and make you are interested in, look around at information about taking out a loan. You don't need to make any firm decision yet, the most important thing is to just put out feelers and see what's out there.

It's become much easier and more convenient to buy a car online. You can find some good deals that way. Going all around town and haggling with salesmen is stressful and time-consuming. On the internet, you have access to all the information you need to make an informed purchase, at just the click of a button.

On the internet you can even find out information about a specific car. Things like for example a history report for a certain vehicle and even make an appointment for a test drive. Wildebeest Migration of Maasai Mara-Kenya: A spectacle to behold

Wildebeest migration to and back from Serengeti into the Maasai Mara is the single most popular wildlife spectacle in Kenya. The wildebeest migration is such a phenomenon it involves movement of over 1 million animals crossing plains and rivers in the mara migration. River crossings are the most spectacular where the wildebeest of mara jump into rivers full of crocodiles and surging currents. The wildebeest is feted as the clown of the Savannah. Also known as a gnu, the animal has a structure resembling a young horse with a heavily built frontal shoulders and chest and a slender posterior. Its legs are so slender it's intriguing how it supports the proportionately larger body frame. The clown title results from its unusual behavior considered to other bovids, for example a gnu herd will usually scatter in different directions when attacked by a lion.

The Migration

What gives the gnu its worldwide repute is not its body structure however, but the sheer numbers and spectre created by its migration. The animals migrate between the Serengeti and Mara Savannahs in Tanzania and Kenya respectively, in search of grass and water. It is estimated that over 1 million of these animals are on the move during the annual migration between June and October. The numbers are so high that miles upon miles of grassland is blanketed by a mass of moving gnu. They simply stretch from one horizon to the next; of the conveniently flat and treeless Maasai Mara Savannah. It is a sight to behold when on your wildlife safari. The wildebeest migration phenomenon is so huge that satellites miles away in space are able to capture the surge as a black moving mass on the plains of East Africa. Now, thats huge: and its even more awesome watching it on the ground or with Mara balloon Safaris.

River Crossing

The most dramatic and memorable safari experience is when you observe the migrating wildebeest/gnus at the several Mara river crossings. Numbers upon numbers gather at such crossings unsure of their next move. The crossings are such notorious spots that the gnus have developed a self preservation instinct over time. Wildebeests will amass in their thousands at banks of river Mara which is rife with the dreaded Nile crocodile and raging currents. Put in the swift current, eminent stampedes and jaw snapping crocodiles in this picture and you get a guaranteed recipe for mass genocide at such river crossings. The Maasai Mara River is usually awash with bloated mass of wildebeest carcass that crocodiles feast on for days on end.

Over 250,000 of the wildebeest die from drowning, stampede, crocodiles and the predators every year. But even this annual carnage is not enough to reduce their numbers. The wildebeest deaths during migration are replenished by the over 400,000 births a year. The deaths during migration are now considered as a natural population check; natural selection at its best.

Do and Die Point

River crossings in the Mara are favourite vantage points to observe the Mara wildebeest migration on your Kenyan safari. The animals will gather hesitantly in huge numbers on the banks, unsure of when to take the plunge. The other wildebeests behind the frontline keep amassing into hundreds of thousands until the pressure on the front is too much to bear.

They finally take the leap; and when they do, even the waiting crocodiles scatter to the flanks. The fear of being trampled by the millions of wildebeest is too real for even a crocodile to risk a head-on affront. Hundreds upon hundreds make death-daring- high leaps into the water, that the splash makes a swash like a million water falls.

The Wildebeest Predators.

Wildebeest Migration is such that a smattering population of other bovids, join in the migration including Zebras and Gazelles. Lion prides also escort (as they eat some, of course) and welcome the migrating wildebeest on either side of the Mara River Crossings. The lions stark up their stomachs with gnu carcass to a point, the prey subdues the prides in the plains with little fear. As long as a lion has had his 35 odd kilos of meat a day, he poses no threat. All that is needed is to sacrifice a cousin here, a distant aunt there and we are fine. Its surely a game of numbers. Leopards on other hand, dont have to move far to hunt its prey. All they'll do is pounce on unsuspecting wildebeest as they pass by their (leopards) tree parches. The rest scatter as usual in different directions. Its just another sacrifice after all; we still got the numbers... no matter what. This is one of the most elusive picture-perfect moments when you are on your African Wildlife Safari.

Visiting the Mara.

Its not only the carnivores that will escort migrating wildebeests but humans as well. The Maasai Mara attracts such interest that the ensuring demand during the months of June-October cannot be met. You will find it difficult to get a space in the lodges if you do not book in advance. Your accommodation in the Mara ranges from 4star to 5star deluxe lodges, tented camps and simple camping tents. The wildebeest Migration takes place everyday of the 4(July-October) month duration. You are as such guaranteed a sighting irrespective of which month of the 4 you visit.

Your bookings are handled by several very professional companies which also provide transportation and transfers from airports, self drive car hire and accommodation in the Mara. Make sure you see the migration the next time you make a Kenyan wildlife safari.

Sauerkraut traditionally a staple of German cuisine gained recent national exposure thanks to health studies spotlighting its cancer-preventing properties.

One such study, led by Michigan State University and University of New Mexico researcher Dorothy Pathak, observed that Polish women accustomed to a lifelong Sauerkraut-heavy diet were 74 percent less likely to be diagnosed with breast cancer than their American counterparts. The study was presented during the November 2005 American Association for Cancer Researchs Annual Frontiers in Cancer Prevention Research meeting.

A report by the Cincinnati Posts Food Network highlighted the fact that people want more unique, easy-to-make, ethnic food combinations like Mexican-Chinese food or Celtic chutney.

Sauerkraut lends itself very well to the demand for such inventive, tasty dishes, Downs said. In addition, Sauerkrauts versatility opens the door to a host of other entertaining ideas, he added.

Breast Cancer And The Pain Of The Mammogram

Just tune into a select cable channel and keep watching long enough and you're likely to see a predictable show about women overcoming obstacles and being triumphant. The situation could take place in the workplace, bad or abussive marriage, sports, or the legal system. Or any of another hundred siturations. Including having beed diagnosed with breast cancer.

The fact is that there are millions of women who have been diagnosed with breast cancer and are now celebrating two, five or even 30+ years of being cancer free.

What do they owe this to? If you ask a cancer survivor, the chances are she'll tell you that early detection was the key. And the mammogram is the technology we use most often today to detect cancer of the breast.

When should the test be done? Experts generally agree that if you have seen your 40th birthday, you should be tested at least every two years. Sometimes more often, especially if you have a family history of breast cancer. What about sooner? Well, I say: why not? What have you got to lose by early detection? Well maybe some discomfort, but women generally agree that it's worth it. More information about cancer can be found at http://www.icancerfree.com.

If you have never experienced a mammogram, here's an idea of what to expect. According to the web site MedicineNet, "The patient's breasts are then placed on a firm flat X-ray surface and a gentle, but firm pressure is applied to the breast using a mommogram compression device. This compression can cause a degree of discomfort in some women, but it is usually a painless procedure. The compression spreads the breast tissue out so that the X-rays display the inner breast tissue with good reslolution. If compression is not used, the mammograms may be blurry, breast tissue may not be well delineated and small lesions can be missed."

"Gentle, but firm pressure"? Interesting way of putting it, isn't it?

Anyway, while there may be some discomfort, don't you agree that that is a small price to pay to have the security and knowledge that your are cancer free? And if, God forbid, you're not, to know so you can take immediate action?

Hawaii Cruise - Travel by Land or Sea?

So, you want to plan a trip to Hawaii. There are lots of options to consider when planning your vacation and they may seem overwhelming. A good starting point might be to think about how you are planning to arrive in this tropical paradise. Since Hawaii is, after all, an island there are only two ways to get there: by sea or by air. When calculating time from California, your choice is between five hours in the air or five days by sea. Now, I know there's a big difference in time, but a Hawaii cruise might be just the excitement and relaxation you're looking for.

Depending on your preference of travel, a Hawaii cruise might sound much more appealing to you than traveling by plane. It is inevitable that every time you step onto an airplane, even if you did pay top dollar for first class, you find yourself in an overcrowded area, in close quarters with several hundred people, many who are possibly ill.

You probably do everything you can, short of jump off the plane, to pass the grueling five hours. Then once you're off the plane you spend another hour or more enduring airport security and looking for your luggage before you even begin the trip to your hotel. Wow, doesn't sound like a great way to start a relaxing vacation. And just think, you get to do it all over again at the end of your trip, too.

Now, visualize yourself heading to your departure point and arriving right at your hotel. No long security lines, no crowded planes. When you travel by ship on a Hawaii cruise it's just like checking into your hotel and relaxing while you head to your destination. You can put your luggage in your room and head straight to the pool deck, enjoy a cocktail, and spend the first five hours of your vacation basking in the tropical sun rather than dodging someone else's germs.

When it comes down to it there's really no comparison. I know I would much rather spend my vacation to Hawaii relaxing on a cruise ship than wasting it in an airport. You will return home relaxed and calm from a week of pampering and luxury instead of stressed to the max from a long flight. The choice is yours, spend you days and nights in a luxurious room, enjoying delicious meals on a cruise ship of your preference, and you will truly enjoy your getaway to the paradise of the Hawaiian islands.

A GOA Travel Guide

Goa has a certain reputation, which dates back as far as the 1960s, where it was regarded as a hippy paradise, a place for dropouts, and flower power, a not to be missed place for travellers, and probably regarded as the world centre for dope.

All of this whilst not totally inaccurate might put you off a visit to Goa, which would be a mistake. Sure Goa can still be the place for all night parties, and beaches crowded with people selling hash to fund their alternative lifestyles, but there is much more to Goa than that.

As background, Goa was a Portugese colony for hundreds of years, and that length of stay, they were finally kicked out in 1961, leaves an indelible impression, from Portugese churches, the fact that 30% of the population is Catholic. You will find European style villas scattered around in the rice fields, palm groves, often bearing coats of arms, and many imposing houses behind walls and locked gates. All of this makes Goa completely different to anywhere on the Indian Sub Continent.

Although Goa was colonised by the Portugese over 500 years ago, it has new colonists, in that literally thousands of tourists visit every winter, many from Europe, but there is also a new generation of middle class young Indians from places like Delhi and Mumbai.

There is a definite divide between on one hand the young generation, bombing around on bikes, going from one beach to another, having a great and very noisy time, often partying all night. This makes parts of Goa a nightmare for the middle class tourist who seeks a quiet quality five star resort, but the great joy of Goa, is that it has the room, the culture, the scenery to cope with both ends of the spectrum.

So if you are looking for bargain prices, cheap accommodation, crowded beaches, hawkers, and action of the legal and perhaps slightly illegal kind, where food and drink are cheap, and the weather is fantastic then Goa is the place for you.

On the other hand if your pleasure is to found in historic sites, on deserted beaches, or on the beach of a luxury resort, then go to the very far north or the deep south, and Goa will be a dream come true for you.

Be warned however, many have come here for a vacation, and been seduced They have never gone home, its that kind of paradise!!

Ebay Hot Tips

eBay Hot Tips

The worlds largest online auction site, continues to dominate the online shopping world. Review these basic tips for eBay buyers and sellers before bidding or selling.

No matter where or when you bought an item you can turn around and sell it, sometimes for more than what you paid. The eBay marketplace is no longer a phenomenon; it's a hobby and even a way of life for millions of addicts around the globe. But no matter how much you sell on eBay, odds are you're missing a few opportunities to maximize your bottom line. Here are some tips that can help

eBay Buyers Tips

Leave eBay feedback only after receiving the product and addressing any issues you may have with the seller via e-mail.

Use the numerous "My eBay" resources to keep track of your bids and offers and get e-mail notifications on your bids.

Watch the eBay.com feedback very closely. This is most important in judging seller credibility. Don't buy from eBay.com sellers with under 10 feedback ratings if possible. Be especially careful of anyone with negatives on large ticket items.

Pay promptly.

Always leave eBay.com feedback.

Respond to all questions from inquiring eBay bidders promptly.

Try to comprehend the power of the Internet. People run their business from the Internet, search for love, research succulent recipes, plan vacations, and best of all - they SHOP!

The most popular public auction site, eBay, is where people gather to find anything from dishes to jewelry to houses and just about everything in between. Last year there was even a mother sold on eBay!

You can purchase amazing original artwork from China, have it signed by the artist, and shipped directly to your home.

The other side of buying is the selling. Anyone can sell anything on eBay. Open an account, list your product, and wait for the bids to start coming in. There are secrets to being a power seller on eBay. People may check more ideas on http://www.realmoneysolution.com.

eBay Sellers' Tips

Always list a photo in your eBay.com auction, even if its a stock picture from the Internet.

Are you ready to learn how to be an eBay seller? You will find it to be easy, fun, and exciting.

1. Collectibles

Hot sellers on eBay are collectibles such as coins, stamps, or dolls.

2. Consumables

This category would include anything that people use and then would need to buy again such as lotions, camera film, candles, perfumes etc.

Is the item you're posting on eBay new or just opened and never used or in fair condition? These seemingly small details can often make the difference in a higher bid for your product.

Mention comments in your follow up e-mail after your eBay.com auction is closed.

Send the merchandise only after you have received payment for your eBay.com auction item, even if its from a family member.

Leave comments only after the eBay.com buyer confirms receipt of the product, either via e-mail or the eBay.com comments form.

Look before you list. Before you list your item, perform a quick, title-only search on eBay for items similar to yours.

Scrutinize the most successful sales and see how the sellers have described and promoted their items in order to earn top dollar.

Online Education: Make the Healthcare Shortage Work for You

By now, most Americans have heard about the growing healthcare shortage. As Baby Boomers start to retire, the demand for healthcare services is increasing at the exact time that the number of healthcare workers is decreasing. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the healthcare industry is the fastest-growing in the country. Right now the biggest shortfall is in the number of nurses; there are currently 200,000 unfilled registered nurse positions and by 2020 this gap is expected to reach one million. However, virtually all healthcare occupations have begun to experience shortages.

What most media reports don't mention, however, is that this shortfall represents a huge opportunity for people looking for a great career. In desperate bids to attract and retain healthcare employees, employers are offering much larger salaries than in the past, along with hiring bonuses, perks, benefits, and flexible schedules. The well-qualified healthcare job seeker has a serious advantage in this market. The opportunities are endless. You can pursue a rewarding career helping others and making the world a better place - and be sought after by great employers offering rising salaries and excellent job security at the same time.

Right now, one of the top priorities for hospitals, clinics, and the government is to increase the number of healthcare students. The federal government has even passed an initiative designed to help students get nursing degrees - check out the Nursing Reinvestment Act. However, there are a number of barriers that potential students confront . One is a shortage of nurse educators, which leads many qualified candidates to be turned down. Many potential healthcare students are also unable, for one reason or another, to attend traditional schools. Maybe you are already employed and looking for a career change. Maybe you are staying home with your kids and planning on entering a healthcare career when they go to school. Perhaps you live in a rural area, or an area that doesn't have very many educational options - these areas are often even more in need of healthcare professionals. Maybe you already work in healthcare and you know that continuing education will get you to a higher level.

One solution is to pursue healthcare education online. You can take courses to give yourself a competitive edge for entering a traditional program, or you can take the entire degree online. This allows busy adults to prepare for their career (or career change) according to their own schedules, at their own pace, and from wherever they happen to be. In addition, many online students use supervised internships in order to get the hands-on training they need. Learn about the options, learn about the careers, and get ready for those healthcare opportunities.

7 Ways To Maximize Your Jewelry Collection Without Spending A Fortune

Resize your favorite ring(s). Did you know that both sterling silver and gold rings are sizable? In most cases, either can be sized up or down by two sizes. The biggest deciding factor is the thickness of the ring and whether or not there is enough metal to make the change. In general, sterling silver is more affordable to size than gold.

Bracelets can be versatile. If you own a bracelet with a large enough clasp, you can use one of your pendants to convert it into a charm bracelet. To make it work, simply hook the clasp into the bail of your pendant. This works particularly well with coin pendants, which gives you the look of a very rich jewelry design.

Necklaces have many uses. You can take a 20" necklace, wrap it twice around your ankle and have the look of a 10" double anklet. If you wear a 9" anklet, you can do the same with an 18" necklace. If you have a longer necklace, you may be able to use it as a delicate belt to adorn your favorite little black dress.

Use your bracelet as an extender. If you have a matching necklace and bracelet set, you can add instant length to your necklace by attaching the matching bracelet to the clasp. For instance, an 18" chain can instantly become a 25" necklace if you attach a 7" bracelet. This would allow you to wear the necklace over a turtleneck sweater in the fall and winter or drape it over your favorite tank-top in the summer.

Make the most of your charms. If you have matching charms, consider adding them to your hoop earrings for an instant dangle. This is a fun look that allows you to spruce up some simple hoops without spending a fortune.

Turn your pin into a pendant. If you love the look of a pin and would enjoy having the same design in a necklace, simply slide your favorite chain underneath the closed pin-back and you have an instant pendant. Be sure to take note of the weight of the pin and consider whether or not your necklace is strong enough to support it properly.

Create your own watch. If you have a bracelet that you absolutely love, why not consider turning it into a watch? Take your bracelet to a jeweler and simply ask him/her to remove a few links and add a watch face in their place. This should be a fairly simple process for a knowledgeable jeweler, and it can save you a bundle. Watches, both silver and gold, are expensive and it can be difficult to find a design that you love. But with you acting as the designer, anything is possible.

Almost Diamonds, a popular online retailer specializing in sterling silver jewelry, has a complete line of items featuring cubic zirconia and genuine gemstones in a variety of styles to choose from. If you are looking to maximize your jewelry collection without minimizing your wallet, consider the affordable option of sterling silver. Not only is this a precious metal thats designed to last forever, but it also is an economical way to get the look of platinum or white gold without spending a fortune.

Cheap Airline Ticket -- Best 10 Tips on How to Buy Discounted Flight Tickets

Everyone who travels wants to save as much as possible when flying. Why would you want to pay the regular going cost when you can get flight tickets cheaper? I have provided a few clever ways of saving yourself a ton of money on your next air trip.

1) Book online instead of offline; you'll save money from the paper processing fee.

2) Clear out your cookies. Why? Many travel websites use the cookies to log when you search for a particular route and will quote you higher when you return to that site to search again.

3) Many airline websites update their airfare shortly after midnight. A little research about the route you are looking will help you get the best airfares before they are sold.

4) Stay less than 30 days. Most airfare tariffs have a month's limitation stay restriction. If you require more time, you will pay a higher priced ticket.

5) If you are traveling with a child under 2 year of age, your child is qualified to travel for free. Buying a separate seat for your child is really expensive.

6) Be ready and open to have different departure and return dates. Mark "anytime" in the search window.

7) Buy flight tickets during the off-season periods; flight tickets are usually cheaper.

8) Buy flight tickets in advance; you can save a lot.

9) Buy from an air courier service; these are companies that will buy your luggage space in exchange for lower-priced tickets.

10) If you fly a lot, join a frequent flyer program; such a program offers long-term discounts.

Beads. Let Me Tell You Their Life Story.

It is thought that the earliest recorded use of beads was by the Egyptians and there are certainly lots of items from the Egyptian period, but bead work has also been found dating back as far as the Stone Age. Many beads were added to their clothing and were made from shells and ivory and although they were not as finely crafted as beads of a later date, they were still in fact beads. So you can say that even at the time of the caveman and woman they were interested in making improvements to their clothing and appearance with beads.

The beads which are traditionally used in beadwork are called seed beads because they are small and resemble a seed. These types of beads were used by the Egyptians in their beadwork and were called Faience beads.

The faience bead was often made from quartz particles fused together compared to the beads of today which are made from glass. A glaze would then be applied over the quartz and they would then be woven or strung together either as jewelry or adornments on clothing.

During the excavation of King Tuts tomb beaded necklaces were found along with other beaded items which included a pair of slippers he wore as a childe and a hassock. It is most unusual for this sort of beadwork to survive as they were often strung on cords made from leather or cloth which often disintegrate as time goes by, yet it is fortunate that we have a few examples which give us an idea on the history of Egyptian beading.

In some religious texts from India there is reference to beads having been woven into hair and horses tails from around the 9th Century BC. Also there is evidence that beads were being widely used throughout Asia in ancient times and some beaded items have been found in temples in Japan that date as far back as 800 AD.

Most early beads were produced using shells, ivory and stone and the early Egyptians valued the beads according to the kind of stone that was used, in fact it was thought that different stones had different properties. For example, Lapis Lazuli (a gorgeous blue stone) was thought to protect the wearers health and would often be fashioned into beads along with Carnelian, Feldspar, Amethyst, Turquoise and Jasper, and which are still used today.

In about 1480 glass was introduced to produce beads when the Venetians began drawing glass tubes and turning them into beads. Certainly once the technology for pulling glass tubes had been invented and perfected it became easy to produce thousands of beads which were not just uniform in size but also in colour and shape.

Certainly you will find that modern jewelry and beading benefits from the advances which were made in the production of beads in the early centuries and even today a bead which has been individually handcrafted can become the star attraction in any beading item.

Kerris Samson, has set up this site providing information on all aspects of beads and beading and how they are used both in today's modern society and in the past. If you would like to learn more about this versatile item, please visit http://www.beads.wiki101.info.Rita Blog55812

Russian Women's Attitudes About Wedding Rings

There are also misunderstandings about monetary terms between Russians and Americans:

For example, you go into the jewelry store and your Russian fianc picks out a ring. You tell her that it is expensive. You mean that it is overpriced, or that it is more than you can afford.

She thinks you mean that that you cannot afford to buy her a ring and that she is not going to get a wedding ring. Russians think in black and white, not shades of gray.

She starts to cry and you cannot understand why. After you calm her down, you laboriously explain to her what your budget is for a ring. She still thinks you are a miser, but you make the purchase.

This may be the end of it or it may not.

Some Russians Have Kitschy Taste. I know one acquaintance that has purchased a wedding ring for his wife five times because he keeps imposing a budget on his wife.

He went to Fast Eddies Discount Wedding Rings first. His fianc buys the biggest, gaudiest ring she can find for the money, but she doesnt like it because she keeps comparing it to my wifes wedding ring.

His fianc buys the biggest diamond even though it is of poor quality. My wife has excellent taste. I explained to my wife when buying a wedding ring about diamond quality. I told her about quality versus size.

She picked a beautifully designed ring and a stone that was good quality and a reasonable size for the money. It was a little more than I wanted to pay, but it made my wife happy.

Her friend has somewhat kitschy taste. Big and gaudy is better in her mind. Yet when she keeps comparing it to my wifes ring, she is unhappy.

She keeps pressing her husband to trade up. Eventually, she will get the ring she always wanted. But it will end up costing more in the long run than if he had just bought the right ring in the first place.

Do not buy a wedding or engagement ring in Russia. The choice is much better in western countries. Russians dont have a tradition of engagement rings so she isnt expecting one.

Wedding rings in Russia are simple gold bands. They do not have diamond wedding rings as a rule.

Buy her a wedding ring when she gets to America. Let her help pick it out so she is happy with it. Work within your budget, but

Dont go cheap because she will see what other women are wearing as soon as she finds her way around.

The general feeling that Russians have about westerners is that they are cheap. This is because they are always talking about money. Dont reinforce her pre-conceived notions by being cheap.

When Russians hear a foreigner complaining about expenses all the time, they think he is greedy.

John Kunkle has been married to a Russian women for over five years. He has travelled the path from finding her, to traveling to Russia, to bring his wife to America, and adjusting to married life. He will show you step by step how to do this yourself.Reiko Blog33433

Top Tips When Buying A Used Car Privately

Every year in the UK over 7 million used cars are purchased, with many of these cars being purchased privately direct from the owner. Whilst this can often be the route to achieving the best bargains it can also become very expensive in cases when it emerges that the car has a number of problems or a previously unknown history. In order to reduce the likelihood of being caught out weve put together the top tips when buying a car privately:

The first step is to do some research about your desired car. Check classified ads and trade guides to get a good idea of prices. Parkers.co.uk is an excellent site and contains a free used car valuation tool and thousands of reviews and ratings.

Once youve decided on which car youd like to buy and have found a possible seller always go and take a look at the car in daylight.

Take a friend along with you. If problems occur in the future its very useful to have a witness available to validate what was said.

Check that the car has not been clocked. The average mileage is 12,000 miles a year. Have a look at the tyres to see whether this looks right or if the car has new tyres ask the owner for details of its servicing history.

Always go for a test drive. However, make sure that you are insured to do so and if the seller says that he has cover ask to see his policy.

Carefully check the log book, officially known as the V5 or registration document. In particular look for the chassis number, known as the vehicle identification number (VIN). This will usually be located on a small plate on the drivers door or in the engine bay. The absence of a VIN number strongly suggests that the car has assumed the identity of someone else, probably because it has been stolen at some point in its past.

You could also consider purchasing an AA Car Data Check. Importantly this will include a full description of the car, including engine size and date of first registration, so you can be sure of what you are buying. It will also tell you whether the car has a finance agreement recorded against it, if the car has been written off, and whether the car has had any number plate or colour changes.

The chances are that at some point youll enter into negotiations over the price. Have a highest price and target price in mind before entering into negotiations. If your two offers are some way apart you try not to say anything. Car salesmen use this tactic all the time as people find silence uncomfortable. Try this and the seller will often suggest meeting half way, at which point you can propose meeting half way between your offer and the new offer, getting yourself a better deal.

Finally, if interested in the car consider having it independently checked by a reputable garage. Reputable sellers will understand this so be wary if the owner of the car is against having it checked.

Your Travel and Holiday Money Options

With summer finally getting into full swing, many of us will be looking forward to travelling abroad for a well earned holiday. Of course, you'll need access to cash while you're away, so what are the best and safest ways of arranging your travel money?

1) Local Currency

It's a good idea to take a small amount of local currency with you whenever you travel, if only enough to last you for your first few hours. You'll probably need to arrange travel from the airport to your hotel for example, and local currency is the easiest way to pay for these initial expenses. The exchange rates charged at airports are notoriously expensive, so buy some currency before you leave and you'll get a much better deal.

The drawback to carrying currency is that if it gets lost or stolen, it can't be replaced. For this reason it's best to use another form of travel money for most of your funds.

2) Travellers Cheques

These are the traditional way of carrying money abroad. When you buy the cheques, which can be in Sterling, Euros or US Dollars, you have to sign the stub of each cheque in the presence of the teller. Once abroad, you can convert the cheques into local currency by signing the other half of the cheque at a currency exchange, where the teller will compare the two signatures and also inspect your passport.

This system is more secure than cash as each cheque is uniquely numbered, so if a cheque goes missing it can be quickly cancelled and replaced by the cheque issuer. There is a drawback in that you have to cash the cheques at a currency exchange, and you might not find one offering a good exchange rate.

3) Credit Cards

Credit cards are accepted virtually the world over, and may seem a good way of paying your way while abroad. As well as using them for shopping, they can be used to pay restaurant bills and even to withdraw cash. Before choosing this as your travel money option though, check your card's small print to see what interest rate is charged on overseas use - it will probably be higher than the standard rate of your card, and you'll probably have to pay exchange charges too.

4) Cash Machines

There are now several international cash machine networks in operation, for example the Cirrus network, and it's likely that your cash card can be used internationally, especially in Europe and the USA. This is a good way of financing your holiday spending, as you can draw out what you need while keeping the rest of your money safe in your normal bank account. The downside is that you may have to pay a fee for each withdrawal, and the exchange rate you're charged may not be the best available.

5) Prepaid Cards

These are a relatively new kind of plastic card, which are used in much the same way as credit or debit cards, with the big difference that you have to 'load' the card with funds before you can spend with it. They are a secure way of carrying money, as the card is replaceable if lost, and as it can only be used in conjunction with a PIN number then even if stolen it's difficult for a thief to make use of it. There will, however, still be exchange commissions payable when you use the card, and also usually a flat fee for cash withdrawals.

The main thing to bear in mind with travel money is that while each of the above options is useful, not all are suitable for use everywhere in the world. The best advice is not to rely on a single kind of travel money, but to take a sensible mixture of cash, local currency, and plastic or cheques, to make sure you can always get local currency when you need it. Enjoy your holiday!

Hello From Sicily Presenting: The Sciglio Family 55 Years Of Hotel Ownership In Taormina

I really enjoyed my location at Hotel Villa Nettuno, this 13-room family run hotel on the north side of Taormina. Since it was a rainy day today anyway, I decided to find out a bit more about this hardworking family who have dedicated their lives towards making foreign travelers feel welcome in Taormina. So I sat down with Vincenzo and Salvatore, the father and son team that together with Maria, Salvatores mother, runs Hotel Villa Nettuno. Naturally the interview was conducted in Italian, and I sometimes had to use my dictionary plus my hands and feet to get my point across.

Vincenzo took me over to some family photos in the living room and started to explain the familys long-standing history to me. Vincenzo, himself in his eighties, explained that his great grandfather born in 1833 while his grandfather was born in 1867. The villa came into being circa 1850 and originally consisted of only 4 rooms. In 1887 Vincenzos grandfather initiated an expansion and added a 4-room addition above the original rooms.

The white stone surrounding the windows and doors was imported from Siracusa and Vincenzos grandfather was an expert stone carver. Incidentally, he also carved the door surrounds for Taorminas famous Grand Hotel Timeo, Taorminas only five-star hotel. A coat of arms above the entrance says Principe del giglio, which effectively means Prince of the fleyr-de-lys. So there is obviously some noble ancestry in the Sciglio famly.

Then in the early 1900s the villa was rented for 25 years to an American artist by the name of Clifford Putnam who created a series of walkways and steps in the steeply sloping garden of the villa. Vincenzo himself was born in 1924 and even at 83 years of age, he is still going strong, with not even a thought of retiring.

When I asked him about slowing down he shrugs and says What would I do?. Obviously his life is so intricately interwoven with this hotel that he cannot even fathom an existence without it. He certainly doesnt mind the hard work. The same goes for Maria, who is up every morning at 6 am to start preparing the breakfast. In addition she also looks after the garden, which is a veritable multi-coloured paradise of subtropical shrubs and flowers.

In 1952 finally Vincenzo and Maria decided to create a terrace outside the house and to add on a third level, providing a total of 13 guest rooms for Hotel Villa Nettuno. Ten of these rooms are double rooms while three are single. Vincenzo goes on to explain that Maria always used to handle the cooking since the hotel used to offer three meals a day. Today Hotel Villa Nettuno offers breakfast only.

A major renovation of the property happened in 1971 when each of the guest rooms was equipped with its own bathroom. Salvatore, the son, has an accounting background which comes in handy with helping to run the hotel. He is in charge of all the reservations and the Internet communications with the clients. Salvatore indicates that most of their clients are European and include people from France, Germany, Belgium, Sweden and Ireland. Customers from the United States and Canada also frequent Hotel Villa Nettuno, primarily due to a listing in one of Arthur Frommers tourist guide books. The property keeps the family really busy expect for the months of November to January when things slow down considerably.

The three family members have a little bit of outside help: one lady comes in to help with breakfast, another young gentleman helps with the heavy work in the garden, one maid looks after the rooms while another helper takes care of the ironing and the laundry. Running a hotel involves a lot of demanding work, not just to look after the rooms, but the garden of Hotel Villa Nettuno also needs a lot of attention.

I was also curious about how the hotel business has changed over the years and Salvatore explained that the business has become more difficult. Years ago people used to stay longer, often a week, or two or longer while todays tourists on the go will usually only stay two to three days. Salvatore added that many of them rent a car and complete a tour of the island, so naturally they stay a shorter period of time in each destination. Regulations have also become tougher and Italy has implemented tough standards in terms of hygiene and health standards.

Interestingly, in 1960s Taormina was more of a summer destination, and hotels tended to be closed in the winter. Today it is almost the opposite where people particularly enjoy coming here all the way from February to October. Particularly spring and fall are enjoyable seasons while summer temperatures are rather hot, typically in the 28 to 32 degree Celsius range. Italian tourists usually come for two weeks in August. Most of Hotel Villa Nettunos clients fall into the age range of 40 to 60. Salvatore added that the younger crowd likes to stay in Giardini Naxos where all the dance clubs are.

When asked what they do for relaxation, Vincenzo indicated that one family member must always be at the hotel, so that makes leisure time a bit difficult. However, he disclosed that for relaxation, his family owns a little house about 10 km from Castelmola, a village perched on a mountain crest just outside of Taormina. This property is a former hayloft with two rooms and a black stone floor. Vincenzo built a wood oven so he would be able to cook there and he refers to the property as very rustico. After all these renovations now there is room for 10 beds. He explains that his house looks like a presepe, and after my failed attempts to understand what he was saying I caved in and looked it up in a dictionary: it looks like a nativity scene.

Vincenzo said he would invite me to come to see his weekend house in the mountains and I was just hoping that there would be enough time with my busy plans and the Sciglios demanding work schedule at Hotel Villa Nettuno. Either way it was great to have met such a nice hardworking Sicilian family who has been in the hospitality business for 55 years.

Law And Order (Season 1) DVD Review

Nominated for 52 Emmys since its 1990 premiere, including 11 for Outstanding Drama Series, Law & Order is one of the most popular television shows in modern day history. With an additional 4 Golden Globe nominations for Best TV Series (Drama), Law & Order is more than a TV show, it's a lucrative franchise for host network NBC, spawning popular spin-offs Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (1999), Law & Order: Criminal Intent (2001), and (the now cancelled) Law & Order: Trial By Jury (2005). Filmed on location in New York City, the show is the brainchild of creator Dick Wolf, a longtime writer for successful TV series such as Hill Street Blues and Miami Vice. With sixteen successful seasons already on the books, and more on the way, Law & Order remains one of the best drama series available on any network

Law & Order centers around the New York City criminal justice system, where "the people are represented by two separate yet equally important groups - the police who investigate crime, and the district attorneys who prosecute the offenders". The first half of each one-hour episode is dedicated to the initial revelation of a crime and the police investigation that subsequently takes place. This usually involves interviewing witnesses, following leads, testing evidence, and/or hammering out a confession. Once sufficient evidence has been gathered to charge a suspect, the remainder of the show revolves around the district attorney's office and their attempts to prosecute the offenders. Oftentimes, the audience will be witness to unexpected plot twists, unorthodox media-driven cases, or last minute, Perry Mason-like confessions or brokered deals. Given its long TV run, the cast of Law & Order has frequently changed over the years - with only a handful of characters experiencing lengthy runs, characters such as Det. Lennie Briscoe (Jerry Orbach), Lt. Anita Van Buren (S. Epatha Merkerson), and EADA John "Jack" McCoy (Sam Waterston)

The Law & Order DVD features a number of dramatic episodes including the series premiere "Prescription for Death" in which a young woman turns up dead following a late-night visit to the emergency room. When her father claims negligence on behalf of the hospital, his accusations lead to an in-depth investigation that prompts detectives to believe that the attending physician was drunk at the time of treatment Other notable episodes from Season 1 include "Poison Ivy" in which the police shooting (and subsequent cover-up) of a black honors student amplifies the city's racial tensions, and "The Serpent's Tooth" in which two brothers become the prime suspects in the murder of their wealthy parents

String Quartet vs. Jazz for Your Las Vegas Wedding Music

Las Vegas weddings have been known for their tackiness as long as Las Vegas drive thru weddings have existed, but Las Vegas weddings are quickly becoming more elegant with brides spending more on their Las Vegas nuptials. With this includes their choice of Las Vegas wedding music and Las Vegas wedding musicians.

We spoke with Chandler Judkins, president of Las Vegas Wedding Music, the number one live musician contracting company in Las Vegas and he had a lot to say about a new trend among Las Vegas couples.

Las Vegas couples arent choosing string quartets as much as they used to, Judkins said. Jazz is more of the choice for their Las Vegas wedding music.

The reason for choosing jazz more than strings for Las Vegas weddings is simple according to Judkins. They want something different. Thats usually why theyre getting married in Las Vegas in the first place.

Strings are still a popular Las Vegas wedding music choice and oftentimes Las Vegas couple will pair up the two, having strings for the ceremony and jazz for the cocktail hour and reception afterward.

A Las Vegas jazz quartet can be the perfect solution to create elegance, class, dancing and swinging, and all at a reasonable price. Las Vegas Wedding Musics jazz groups start as low as $500 for a few hours, and no minimum time is required. Las Vegas Wedding Musics musicians often show up to play for a 15 minute wedding ceremony and then go home.

Las Vegas Wedding Music is so flexible with price, timing, groups, song requests list and more because according to Judkins, music is his passion and he wants to share that passion through his company Las Vegas Wedding Music.

Couples getting married in Las Vegas often dont realize that live musicians can be contracted for as little as a Las Vegas dj can be hired, Judkins said. Our goal here at Las Vegas Wedding Music is to promote live music. We want our brides to walk down the aisle to the real thing, not a distorted version of Canon in D.

Judkins is a professional musician himself and oftentimes plays with the Las Vegas jazz groups. Live sound demos of the Las Vegas string quartet and the Las Vegas jazz groups can be found at Las Vegas Wedding Musics site: LVWeddingMusic (dot) com.

Las Vegas Wedding Music also offers other Las Vegas wedding music packages for couples getting married in Las Vegas who want something different for their Las Vegas wedding. Singers, harpists, top 40 bands, mariachi groups, impersonators and more are available.

Las Vegas Wedding Music can work with nearly any budget and their packages start as low as $250.

Renae Judkins earned her journalism degree from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.Risa Blog3049

Short Term Bridging Loans Own Property Instantly At Low Cost Finance

You have set eyes on a property either commercial or personal and you need to buy it immediately before any property grabber takes note of it. But there is a problem. You would be selling your old property to get required finance for buying the new one. The old property however will take time to sell. There is a solution in short term bridging loans.

Short term bridging loans are provided for the time the borrower is able to sell old property to pay off the loan. As the term applies the loan is taken usually for a short period till old property is sold. Short term bridging loans are secured loans. The very property the borrower will be selling is taken by the lender as collateral to secure the loan. How much one can borrow? Well this depends on the value of the property to be sold and offered as collateral. Lenders are willing to offer 65 percent of the value of the property to be sold.

Since short term bridging loans are taken for a shorter repayment period of few weeks to 6 months. Lenders charge higher interest rate. This however can be countered by comparing different loan packages and comparatively lower interest rate can be availed. The relief for the borrower is that no monthly installments are involved in the loan and only interest is paid during the loan repayment duration. The principal amount is paid back when the borrower is able to sell the old property. No upfront fee is involved in the loan offer which is another advantage for the borrower.

The biggest advantage of short term bridging loans is that it is in the hands of the needy borrower within 24 hours. Fast approval is the key and attractive feature of the loan. But you should keep all documents ready for taking the loan in time.

In order to take maximum advantage from the loan goes for an extensive searching for the short term bridging loans providers. Numbers of the loan providers have displayed their short term bridging loans products on their websites. Make a careful comparison in terms of interest rates and other conditions. See what suits you the best. Settle for the lender having suitable package for you and apply then and there online to him. The lender will not take anything for processing loan application and on giving information about the loan.

Surely short term bridging loans provide the much needed finance at the right time when you are looking for buying new property commercial or personal. Compare different loan package on offer prior to sealing the deal.

Take A Look at Car Video Systems

Do you find yourself on the road a lot? Do you go on those long road trips to go camping or visiting faraway relatives with your family? Long trips in your own car can really be boring and troublesome, especially if you travel with your family.

Children, especially young ones, can be really noisy and unruly if they become bored during a long trip. Trips like this can also endanger your family as it can be hard to concentrate on the road if your children are making that awful racket. Why dont you install a car video system in your vehicle to make your car trips much more enjoyable?

Car video systems come standard on newer vehicles like many other things these days. Anything from GPS to CD changers can be enjoyed right off the bat if you purchase an high-end vehicle. But if you dont have enough savings to buy a pricey vehicle, it would be cheaper to install it on the car you have right now.

I can understand if youre hesitant to install car video systems in your car. You might think that it probably will cost a lot. Well Its not as expensive as you might think. A year ago when I decided to buy a minivan, I also looked into car video systems available. I was thinking that it would really useful on a family oriented vehicle like a minivan. Too my surprise I found out that it only cost an additional two grand to have it installed in my car. Though it may still sound expensive its still worth the cost if car video systems help you survive those long and grueling road trips.

You can get a TV screen and DVD player when you invest in car video systems. I had no regrets with my decision to install one in my car. It really made a difference to those long road trips that I have to do ever year. I can now focus on the road without worrying about keeping the kids occupied. No more complains and crying from the backseats. My young ones eyes are focused on the cartoon characters doing whatever they do on the screen. Car video systems have really made long trips a lot more enjoyable for me and my family. We now look forward to more of these trips knowing fully that my family are all at ease inside the car.

Before Viewing Homes for Sale, Know What You Can Afford to Pay

Before contacting a realtor and begin looking at homes for sale, there are a few things you need to do. Your realtor will assist you in discovering how much home price you can afford, but he/she needs information from you to do it. So, go prepared with your financial data to your first appointment with your realtor in order to begin looking at homes for sale immediately.

To determine a homes for sale price that you can afford, you need to review your financial situation to determine how much down payment you can afford and how large of a monthly payment you can comfortably handle.

Net Worth

So, before looking at homes for sale, put together a statement of your net worth. Begin by doing an inventory of all your assets (what you own that may be sold for cash). This includes all investments, savings accounts, household furnishings, your current home and any other real estate, vehicles, recreational vehicles and equipment, furs and jewelry, guns, electronic equipment, loans owed to you, any vested equity you own, cash and surrender values of insurance policies, collectibles, and precious metals and gems.

Now, list the value of each item. This is the amount you believe you could sell the item for cash within a reasonable timeframe. Deduct any money owed on the item from the sell price. For example, you might be able to sell your current home for $150,000, but you owe the mortgage company $75,000 (pay-off amount) and another $3,000 in property taxes that would come due before it could be sold.

Now, list all of your liabilities. They are anyone to whom you owe money for whatever reason. They include mortgages, loans and credit lines of any types (including credit cards), and even your Uncle Bob that loaned you $2,000 last summer.

Total your assets and liabilities. Then, subtract the liabilities from your assets to determine your net worth.

Down Payment

To determine your possible down payment for a homes for sale, take your net worth and subtract out the following: Savings for emergencies, education and retirement; settlement and moving costs of buying the homes for sale; and cash you will need to improve, decorate and furnish the new homes for sale. The remaining is your possible down payment.

Monthly Payment

Next, calculate the possible monthly payment you can afford for your homes for sale. List all of your actual and projected monthly expenses. Include all the monthly costs of your liabilities listed above, adding the following items: Insurance premiums, all household expenses (including cell phones and DSL costs), any taxes owed but not already withheld by your employer, all transportation costs (include maintenance, fuel, and licensing), clothing costs (new and maintenance), pocket money for family members, groceries, personal care, recreation and entertainment, medical and dental costs, charity, special expenses (such as tuition), and miscellaneous costs. Divide into monthly costs any expenses paid quarterly or annually.

Now, total your monthly expenses. Subtract out your monthly mortgage or rent. Subtract the remaining expenses from your total monthly household income. This is the amount you can comfortably pay for a monthly mortgage payment on a homes for sale.

If the monthly payment for a homes for sale seems a bit low, review all of your monthly expenses. Where can you decrease or eliminate expenditures? For example, paying off your high-interest credit cards to eliminate the high monthly payments.

Once you have this information in hand, your realtor can determine just what you can afford to pay for a homes for sale.
